Science

In Science, we will be implementing 3 new units that are tailored to the newest Massachusetts Science Standards that were updated in the spring of 2016. Our first unit will be about water, specifically about the cycling of water as well as our fresh water resources on earth. Students will even get to build a water filtration system to try and filter dirty water!! We will then move on to a unit on Matter in which students will complete some exciting hands on experiments to test materials for their properties. Lastly, we will think about living things and how they are all interconnected within an ecosystem through the study of food chains.
